lyrics
When I was five
My brother and I used to set up a little musical show
Every year after Christmas Lunch
I played the piano and he sang and played guitar
We used to sing some random Christmas tunes
That we had prepared some days before our small gig
He played that sixties' warm brown guitar
On which my father learned to play guitar too
Well ten years later on that very guitar
I learned to play thanks to a Beatles' songbook
And every afternoon of my high school years
I played guitar instead of doing homework
Christmas '97 well I miss you much
Can you come back with our old guitar
Christmas '97 we all miss you very much
Can you bring back our dead grandpas
